J.W. O’Donovan LLP offers 3 one-month placements in June, July, and August each year for legal interns.

Our Summer internship programme offers interns the opportunity to gain valuable exposure to our primary areas of practice and allows J.W. O’Donovan LLP to recruit our next generation of Trainee Solicitors.

We are seeking motivated and diligent interns to join our dynamic team at our new offices at 27 South Mall, Cork. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various areas of law, including our core practice areas of Corporate & Commercial, Real Estate, and Litigation & Dispute Resolution. The successful candidate will assist with legal research, drafting documents, preparing case files, and supporting our solicitors in day-to-day tasks.

Requirements:

• Preferably a current student of law (other degree courses will be considered where a particular interest in law can be displayed);
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; and
• A proactive attitude with a keen interest in developing legal expertise.
