Breakthrough Cancer Research is an Irish medical research charity, founded in Cork, dedicated to funding world-class research that leads to new and more effective cancer treatments. Their work focuses on cancers with the poorest outcomes, namely those that are currently incurable or underserved by existing therapies. By investing in innovative research, fostering collaboration between scientists and clinicians, and prioritising patient impact at every stage, they are helping to improve survival rates and bring hope to people and families affected by cancer.
Throughout 2026, we look forward to supporting their mission to “make more survivors” through a range of fundraising and awareness initiatives.
