Pat practises in commercial law, property, estate planning, probate and tax law, and is the current Chairman of the Law Society of Ireland’s s Probate and Trusts Committee. He has lectured extensively for both the Law Society and the Institute of Taxation.

Pat is a Member and a past Chairman of both the Law Society Taxation Committee and the Taxation Advisory Liaison Committee (TALC), which is a high-level consultative body between the Revenue Commissioners and the legal, accounting and taxation professions. He is also a member of the Institute of Taxation and is a past Chairman of its Cork/Kerry region.
